James Richmann, RN, BS, MHA, CEN
CONSULTANT
With over 20 years of emergency nursing leadership experience, Jim possesses a wealth of clinical knowledge and hands-on management expertise. His background includes experience at small and large academic and community settings. Jim also has extensive experience in starting and managing free standing emergency centers. His focus on staff and leadership development has allowed him to engage buy-in and ensure sustainable results. He has been successful in leading change, improving ED performance and effecting positive quality outcomes, including reducing length of stay, reducing walkouts and improving patient satisfaction.
As a past member of the ENA Board of Directors and past president of the New Jersey ENA Council, Jim has access to colleagues around the country to investigate best practices and to determine cutting edge innovations. He remains active at a national, state and local level and teaches on both clinical and leadership topics.
Jim has a diploma in nursing from Our Lady of Lourdes School of Nursing, a bachelor's degree from The Richard Stockton State College and a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Bellevue University. He is a Certified Emergency Nurse.
