Ryan Oglesby, RN, MSN, MHA, CEN, NEA-BC
SENIOR CONSULTANT
With over 13 years of experience at varying levels of emergency nursing leadership, Ryan brings a wealth of clinical knowledge and hands-on management expertise. Certified as an emergency nurse and a nurse executive, Ryan maintains expertise in emergency care and nursing administration, recognized nationally by multiple professional organizations.
Prior to joining Blue Jay, Ryan held leadership positions in an urban ED of a large, integrated healthcare system with over 104,000 annual visits and as an ED and Transport Services Educator for a Level I Trauma Center. He has lectured nationally and regionally on a number of leadership and clinical topics pertaining to emergency nursing care, the transition of new employees, and performance improvement.
Ryan is an active member of the Emergency Nurses Association and currently serves as President for the North Carolina ENA. He is also a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and the American Organization of Nurse Executives. Remaining connected at the national, state, and local level allows him access to knowledgeable experts and provides strong working relationships with individuals across the country.
Ryan obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing as well as a Master of Science in Nursing and a Master of Health Administration at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Ryan is currently pursuing a PhD in Nursing with a focus in healthcare administration at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
