CONSULTANT
Kelli has an extensive background in emergency department leadership in academic and community medical center environments. Her hands-on clinical and management experiences have offered her numerous opportunities to bring process improvement visions to reality in varied settings. She is practiced in various roles, including clinical and leadership education and has served on emergency education, medical and nursing advisory boards.
As a consultant with Blue Jay, Kelli has created sustainable changes in improving patient throughput. Working with the emergency department and key inpatient nursing and ancillary departments, she has improved ED patient admit times, housekeeping turnaround times, bed availability and control and inpatient discharge times, ultimately improving ED patient throughput and satisfaction.
As Magnet® Program Director, she has had opportunities to learn and share with nursing colleagues across the United States and internationally, developing relationships with others who share her passion in achieving excellence in emergency nursing and creating collaborative environments where nurses thrive, enabling evidence-based best practices that benefit patients and organizations alike.
Kelli has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Maryland and Master of Science degree in Management and Administration from Hood College. She is a Certified EmergencyNurse and also certified by the American College of Forensic Medical Examiners.
