Denise King, RN, MSN, CEN
DIRECTOR
Denise King possesses an impressive depth of experience in emergency care, gained from positions held at private facilities and through her service as a lieutenant in the United States Navy Nurse Corps. She came to Blue Jay Consulting from her position as director of the ED and ICU at a hospital that saw 30,000 patients annually. She has also been an ED manager and a charge nurse in various facilities.
A member of the national leadership team of the Emergency Nurses Association (for which she will serve as national president in 2008), Denise also stays active as a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives and Sigma Theta Tau.
Denise is frequently called upon as a presenter to professional and clinical audiences on a variety of topics.
She holds an associate of science in nursing, a bachelor of science in nursing and a master of science in nursing administration. A registered nurse and a certified emergency nurse, she also holds certifications for ACLS, TNCC, PALS and ENPC. |
