Kandy Duncan, RN, MHA
CONSULTANT
With over 24 years of clinical and administrative experience, Kandy has held several positions ranging from Clinical Supervisor to Director of Emergency Department to CEO/Executive Director of a large EMS company in Central PA. Her accomplishments over the years have included the design of emergency departments, maternal child departments, and clinics.
In recent years, she successfully organized the opening of one of the largest emergency departments in Pennsylvania. Her time and energy have been devoted to improving ED throughput, with an emphasis on process improvement and patient satisfaction.
Throughout her career, Kandy has been committed to putting the patient at the center of her decisions. A recipient of the Central Penn Business Journal’s Nonprofit Innovation Award for Management Operations, she demonstrated this dedication by placing physicians in the waiting room of the ED, thus increasing patient satisfaction and decreasing the wait time to see the physician.
She has a proven record of problem solving, motivating staff and achieving goals with the ability to implement programs designed to integrate care principles with the delivery of patient care and services. An RN with significant experience, Kandy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration and a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from St. Joseph’s College. |
