John Lloyd serves as the President & CEO of the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) in Arlington, VA. The commission oversees the accreditation of over seventy programs offering graduate degrees in healthcare management in the United States and Canada. His role is to assure through the accreditation process the excellent preparation of future leaders in the healthcare industry.

Previously John served as vice chairman and founding member of the executive search firm of Witt/Kieffer.  His leadership was instrumental directing Witt/Kieffer as it diversified its business in healthcare, education and not-for-profits always striving to provide high quality service.  His leadership helped the firm become one of the ten largest executive search firms in the country.

In addition to his internal leadership at Witt/Kieffer, John maintained an active search practice, built on 30 years of executive search consulting experience and the long-term relationships he developed with board members and senior executives.  He was regularly selected by clients and peers as one of the top 100 executive search consultants in the country.

John has held key leadership positions in the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC), including serving as chairman of the board of directors.  He serves on the board of the University of Missouri Health Alliance.

As part of his commitment to mentoring potential leaders in the healthcare industry, John is a regular lecturer to graduate students in health and medical management.  He is a well-regarded speaker and author on executive topics such as leadership development and succession planning, and conducts national surveys of interest to senior healthcare leaders.
